A Message in a sentence

In Luke 2:7 the Bible says, And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger; because there was no room for then in the inn. In this one sentence God shares so much truth. There is first of all a past fulfillment.Isaiah said 750 years before she would have a son She was to call Him Immanuel, which means God is with us. There is also a future fact. The thought of swaddling clothes speaks of burial garments. The fact is He did not come to live but to die. The last truth is a present form.  We are told there was no room in the inn and He was laid in a manger. All of these speak of the fashion of He humbled Him self and took on the form of a servant. My our Lord can say a bunch in a short space.
