Practicing Supremacy

We are musing from home these days. I had a sweet am service with the good folks at Revival Baptist in Blairsviile, Ga yesterday.  I want to look at Luke 2:4-5 which says, And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem;(because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife being great with child. I am amazed at this young couple, not only did they believe that He was in control but they  practice it.  Just think of the questions asked on the trip from Nazareth to Bethlehem. Questions like how long you all been married? Oh we aren’t married, just engaged.( Response WHAT!!!) Maybe they heard this question What you all want a boy or a girl. Oh it is going to be a boy. How do you know? Well an angel told us. ( Response WHAT!!!!) the city was Bethlehem (house of bread) Surely this couple had partaken of the bread of His sovereign control.
