Robinson Crusoe’s Prayer
I look at a prayer found in Psalm 50: 15, which says, And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. This prayer was prayed by Crusoe while on a deserted island. This a simple prayer, call upon me. One must be in trouble in order to be delivered. There is also a secure prayer. The phrase I will, gives us His secure seal that when we call He will deliver. There is a sobering prayer in this text. When He delivers us He expects us to glorify Him. How can we do less. I would say we all have many delivery stories, do we have as many giving glory stories.
